Description: Nine holiday apartments and a swimming pool Surface: 880 m² Client: private investor Conception: 2009
The project consists of nine apartments overlooking the Black Sea. The architectural volume is clearly defined as a curved glass wall that leans against a single stone-made wall. The main oval part is oriented towards the sea, as the straight line sets a separation from close neighbours. The monolithic wall with its various openings sizes serves as a membrane to its close neighborhood. At the same time, the horizontal windows which follow the stone cladding stratification, give the notion of a “free facade”.
